Bet of the Day Race 3 3.Sports Mode $1.50

Value bet of the day Race 4 2.Jinja Bailey $4.60 FF

Multi of the day Race 3 3.Sports Mode Race 6 8. Thea Who

Race 1

Confidence: 2/5

1.My Kirsty has had two starts at Manukau since moving up from Christchurch. She ran a good 4th here on debut over 527m from box 2. After the enforced break she resumed here over a sprint, jumped well but got badly  checked into the first bend and that was that. Her times at Addington indicate that she can certainly run a place at least here and with the 3 dog running wide after jumping, she should get every chance along the rail as the 2 dog is normally slower away. RP $4.00

Race 3

Confidence: 3/5

3.Sports Mode  rates clearly on top in the predictor and with the 4 and 5 dog looking to veer wider early, and the 1 and 2 dogs generally slower away early, he should get every chance to use his explosive speed to drive to the lead and win from there. RP $1.90

Race 4

Confidence: 2/5

2.Jinja Bailey rates 2nd in the Predictor and has the best adjusted time here over 527m in the last 6 months. Last start here she pinged first from box 7 but the hotty, Portland Wonder from box 1 drove through and led, but I like the way she puts her head down and gives it everything. (She was checked early on Thursday from box 7.) That was over a sprint last Sunday, She can jump and lead early here and knowing she has the best adjusted time, and at her peak now, she should be very hard to run down. RP $3.60, $4.60 FF

Race 5

Confidence: 2/5

8.Tribal Conquest looks nicely placed here from box 8 as the 4 dog likes to crash to the rail making the inside dogs vulnerable. He maps to lead out as he did here last start from box 1 and he looks a good chance to cross and lead. He has the 2nd and 4th best adjusted times here in the last 6 months so looks a decent chance. RP $2.50

7.Jilliby Litsa  has the best adjusted time after a good 2nd here on debut last week. Just depends on how it jumps. If it does, looks the main danger.

Race 6

Confidence: 3/5

8.Thea Who  did a remarkable job here last week when getting back and picked a path through them and won easily in the end. His closing sectional of 14.99 was faster than anything in the better grade races. He drew out on Thursday at Cambridge and did the same driving past others. From box 8 again, he is likely to land about 4th or 5th but wide out of trouble and against an average lot of Class  1s, can easily pick them up and drop them in the straight. RP $2.30, $2.50 FF

Race 7

2.Opawa Delight drawn to lead or be close to it on the rail into the first bend. The 1 dog debuts here and can miss the jump early. From there, if she can reproduce her run here on May 17th from box 1, she can win. RP $4.00

Race 8

7.Keysile has two wins from two starts over this distance here. She is rock hard fit now and maps to lead, so looks the one. RP $3.20

Race 9

Confidence: 2/5

3.Thrilling Peta is on top in the Predictor with here 4 from 4 strike rate from this box and a top 2nd to Buddy last week.

Race 10

Confidence: 2/5

8.Go All In  is best suited out here as he likes to have room wider to get wound up. On top in the Predictor and maps to get a nice drag over from the seven dog and get his chance to go one better now. RP $3.60

Race 11

Confidence: 3/5

2.Thrilling Stomp beat a few of these here in his last two starts and drawn to do the same. Rates on top in the Predictor and looks hard to beat again with his very good strike rate here ( 4 from 7 )

Race 12

Confidence: 2/5

8.Madam Bucks has the best adjusted time here and rates on top in the Predictor. Good record from this box and with a good ping can win. RP $4
