Just a reminder that’s there’s no greyhound selections today.  Our plan at this stage is to provide a paid selections service for meetings on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday and whenever the PNGRC race.  If it’s popular, we may look to expand.

We are provided the service for free at present while the dogs get back into racing for.  It’s been tough trying to line up form with so many dogs having limited or no racing in the past two months.

One of the interesting selections yesterday was Mothers Touch which I had as a decent each way bet.  The favourite ran paying $1.30 to win on the tote and even after money came from Mothers Touch, you could still be $1.70 PLACE on the tote.

Where the ratings help is that they can often highlight when a runner is poor value and that was my assessment of Yasawa Lights.  It would have been a perfect story if Mothers Touch had one rather than run second (beaten by a dog first up in a couple of months) but it still highlights how the Formpro Ratings can be used to find value where a runner is paying a lot less than the we think it should.

Back again tomorrow afternoon with selections for Addington.
