Update 10.40 a.m.
With the $20,000 having to be struck again, the Pick 6 is worth a dabble. I’m filling in for David today who is having a well earned break, although he may need another one after watching that amazing game of cricket this morning!
Good luck,
Neil
Bet of the day
Race 11
5.Big Time Daisy is the $2.30 favourite and the speed map says she should lead and her times say she should hold on. The dogs either side of her are generally slower out and should give her a clear crack at the lead. Looks the best anchor of the six legs. RP $1.60, $2.30 FF
Lay of the day
Race 5 #6 Ask King Jeff $3.60 ( Maps to be last at the first bend and should find it very hard from there )
Lays of the day
A good strategy for finding good lays at 44 or less is if the dog is third or lower in the Predictor and Speedmap.
If you use the sectionals and replays to dig deeper into them, you will increase your long term profitability. There are five dogs below who qualify:
Race 3 #1 $3.10 FF
Race 5 #6 Asking Jeff $3.60 ( Maps to be last at the first bend and should find it very hard from there )
Race 8 #9 $4
Race 9 #2 $3.70
Race 10 #2
Race 7 First leg of the Pick 6
The market says it is an even go.4-3-1-8
The Predictor says 7-5-4-3
The Speed Map says 3-4-5-7 should be the first four at the first bend.
The Filter says we can leave out 2 and 6 on best adjusted times for the last 90 days.
The sectionals also say we can leave out 2 and 6.
So we can leave out 2 and 6 and include 1-3-4-5-7-8
Race 8
The market says it is another even go. 6-9-1-2
The Predictor predicts in order 5-6-9-8-1
The Speed map shows 1-9-5-6-7-8 all being close up on the first bend.
The Filter says 6-2-5-8-1 have the best adjusted times in the last 90 days.
An obvious field job. To narrow it down, you could leave out 3 and 7.
Race 9
The market says the winner should come from 4-2-8-1
The Predictor indicates 8-4-6-3
The Speed map says 2-4-6-8 should be fighting out the early lead.
The Filter tells us 3-6-5-4 have the best adjusted times in the last 90 days here.
The sectionals say 3-6-5-4 are live chances.
So we can leave out 7 safely. To narrow it down further, 1-2-4- and 8 look the best half of the field.
Race 10
The markets says 8 and 2 could dominate here.
The Predictor says 3-8-5-4.
The speed maps says 3-4-5-and 10 should be vying for the lead early.
The Sectionals say 4-3-5-2
9 can be left out safely. 2 and 8 if going narrow and 3-4-5-10 if budget allows.
Race 11
5.Bigtime Daisy is the $2.30 favourite and the speed map says she should lead and her times say she should hold on. The dogs either side of her are generally slower out and should give her a clear crack at the lead. Looks the best anchor of the six legs.
Race 12
The markets says 8-1- and 6 should dominate.
The Predictor can’t separate 1 and 8 and they have both drawn to share the pace. 6 downgrades significantly and has sectionals and times to say with the right run can win.
It’s Monday (at least in NZ) so that means free ratings. Whether we manage to win the World Cup is still be decided as is tomorrow’s Pick 6.
We’ll be back tomorrow with some recommended selections with a focus on the pick 6
Just one meeting again of 12 races. The first race is at 1.00 pm on the dot.
